Powder Room Perfection

Strangely enough I get very excited thinking about Powder Rooms. I have never had one before. Usually our visitors have needed to use the girls’ bathroom. I always find myself apologising in advance just in case there is an unflushed toilet or blobs of toothpaste in the sink! In my mind there are a few simple elements that create what I call Powder Room Perfection.

1. Wallpaper

The powder room is usually a small space, sometimes tucked under a staircase. I think it is the perfect opportunity to have a bit of fun with some wallpaper.

2. Sconce Lighting

One of my other loves. Sconce lighting adds that touch of glamour.

 3. Artwork

Why not add some small piece of artwork or two to create some interest? And give guests some viewing pleasure!

I love this powder room which features my favourite Imperial Trellis wallpaper in Aqua. I used this in the entrance of our old home and am excited about it making a comeback in our new powder room. The bamboo mirror will also be used.
