There is a bit more colour in this weeks’ Friday’s Favourites, maybe because summer has finally arrived in Melbourne! The sky put on a colourful show last Saturday night too. I have never seen these beautiful pink hues over Flinders Pier.
Then a few minutes later there was an incredible sunset.
But from an interiors side of things, here is what is inspiring me.
Can’t fault this kitchen. In particular the fabric used for the window valance. It softens all the hard surfaces in this space.

I came across this image in my search for ceiling ideas. I am thinking of doing a similar bulkhead in our home. I love the choice of bedside table in this bedroom. The weathered finish creates an inviting and relaxed feel. Not to mention how inviting the bed looks.
I am also starting to think of ways to decorate the girls bathroom. I’m not sure that I will be brave enough to wallpaper a bathroom (ventilation would need to be very good) but this one is very inspiring.
This outdoor lounge area, well actually the entire exterior is amazing!
