I had a bit of a surreal moment this week, meeting Jonathan Adler at a cocktail evening hosted by Coco Republic. I featured his incredible Soho store in my New York post last year. From his ceramics to furniture and homewares, I love the attention to detail in his colourful, whimsical and stylish pieces. He spoke of his humble beginnings as a potter, selling his wares to Barneys New York. This eventually led to him opening his first store in Soho and expanding the business to furnishings. His Soho headquarters, affectionately known as the Fantasy Factory employs 70 ‘creatives’, their dogs also welcome! Jonathan also works as an interior designer on hotels, restaurants and homes but pottery is his true passion.
For this week’s Friday’s Favourites I am featuring one of my absolute favourite interior designers, Studio McGee. Comprising of Salt Lake City husband and wife team, Studio McGee combine the perfect mix of classic with contemporary style. Blues, greys and soft pinks often feature in their colour schemes against a white or neutral backdrop.
Their spaces always look inviting and comfortable.
Beautiful architectural details are highlighted in their rooms.
Gold accents add a subtle touch of luxury.
You may recognise some more of their beautiful work featured in previous Gallerie B posts.

So much inspiration here!
Have a lovely weekend.
