Friday’s Favourites: Neutral Territory

As you would know I am a big fan of colour but still appreciate a room decorated in neutral tones. For those less confident introducing colour, a neutral beige, greige or taupe can still create a beautiful space.  As I mentioned in my ‘White’ post (here), introducing pattern and texture is important to give interest when using neutrals.  Warmth is added to this bedroom through the soft furnishings; the throw rug, cushions, headboard, floor rug and drapes.

Using different shades of the same neutral colour will add depth to the space.

Neutral colours can also be the perfect way to show off an architectural feature such as this gorgeous glass ceiling.
