Friday’s Favourites

Does anyone feel like Christmas is creeping up too quickly and it’s already getting a bit crazy? I do! My interior design work has really picked up and I feel very grateful to be working with some lovely clients. I also received two amazing pendants this week that my girls have chosen for their new bedrooms. Miss 7 chose the raspberry beaded chandelier, and Miss 10 the turquoise one. These colours will dictate the colour schemes for their bedrooms. I am mindful that we are heading into ‘tweensville’ with the eldest so am trying to think ahead of what styles/colours she is less likely to grow out of.

Two of my Friday’s Favourites for the week are kitchens that have similar design elements but very different styles. This first beauty has a gorgeous blue feature island. It has my favourite formula of classic white cabinetry, marble bench tops and subway tiles.

With just a few key differences, this kitchen has more of an industrial edge. Silver U.S Navy barstools and pendants, with a thicker bench top on the island help create this. I love the airiness and natural light.

I can never look past a good nook and this one is styled beautifully. In what would otherwise be a void in a hallway, the use of chaise, side table and artwork create a point of interest.

This bathroom is a great example of how easy it is to add colour. With a classic backdrop, the colourful towels and bathmat add some personality and fun.

Have a lovely weekend.
