This week I announced the winner of my Instagram #gallerieblovescolour competition. The winning entry below belongs to Rachel. Painted furniture is a true commitment to colour in my eyes! I must be channelling the blues this week as it is the predominant colour in my Friday’s Favourites.
I love the abundance of natural light in this living room. The arched windows alongside the fireplace are an interesting design detail. Colour is injected into the space with pretty blue fabrics..
This pool house is spectacular. The blue and white palette is crisp and fresh. That ceiling detail and pendant add a real wow factor!

Another (huge) painted island in navy has caught my eye in this kitchen. The brass pendants are very on-trend too.
And for the ‘non-blue’ image. This cosy nook goes to show that you don’t need a lot of space to create the perfect relaxation zone. Two chaise lounges in a soft fabric with a space saving built-in entertainment unit set the scene.
