It was a great mail week with the delivery of my latest coffee table book, Classic Florida Style. I have such a weakness for coffee table books. The words ‘Classic’ and ‘Florida’ had me clicking on the Purchase button way too quickly. This one does not disappoint either. It shows the beautiful design work of William and Phyllis Taylor.
My first Friday’s Favourite features one of the Taylor’s dining room projects. I have always loved round dining tables (which I previously wrote a blog about here). The view isn’t too shabby either!

How amazing is this dressing room? The top gold rails are on hinges and can be pulled down to easily access the clothing. The marble on the island is beautiful, no detail has been overlooked.
Of course I understand the need for pool safety fences but sometimes a space looks more cohesive without one.
The soft colour palette creates a luxurious and serene bedroom.
