Friday’s Favourites
by
Some wonderful new products have just been released in the decorating world that I wanted to share with you. I recently wrote about Outdoor Fabrics and how they are a great option to use indoors. Thibaut have launched their Calypso Outdoor Fabric range. The prints and geometrics are so pretty and in gorgeous colours. They are definitely worthy of using indoors as a durable upholstery option.

Another one of my great loves is Grasscloth Wallpaper. Phillip Jeffries have taken it to the next level with their new collections. Maldives Weave combines two colours in a woven diamond pattern. Love It Linen is a soft canvas linen that comes in some beautiful pastel colours. The Herringbone would be perfect for a den or home office.

Once again for this week’s Friday’s Favourites I am featuring some inspiration from the one home. This one was built by Build Prestige Homes and designed by Verandah House. It has so much Hamptons goodness in Queensland.
Aside from the amazing window detail and wall panelling, I love the window seat in this sitting room.
The soft blue and white fabrics and accessories are gorgeous.
The blue palette continues to the Al Fresco area. So much to love in this space, including those blue and white ceramics.
Woven rattan furniture and plush cushions feature in an additional outdoor room.

Gorgeous. I’m building a 2 story home next year and this is the exact style I’m looking for. Thanks for the ideas

Hi!
Are you able to recommend some exterior and interior paint colours. We are currently building a two storey house and are going with the hamptons style/theme. Really struggling with paint colours though! The roof will be in surfmist colourbond and are wanting the exterior to be in the beige/grey tones. The window trims and skirting inside will be white and want the walls to compliment that… again something in the beige tones but nothing too deep…
I love the colour that has been used on the cladding for the ‘hamptons beauty’ in Queensland. Do you know colour has been used?
Hi Michelle, sorry, I don’t know the exact colour of that home. It was designed by the very talented ladies at Verandah House. I love the Dulux colour White Exchange. It is in the white family but has a grey tone which I have used in our interiors. Beige is a warm while most greys are cool so I would just be wary of mixing the two. If you have a Dulux showroom near you with a visiting colour consultant, I would definitely use their services. Hope this helps. Good luck x
